Painful Lumps Found On Bottom Side Of Breast. Also Pains In Neck, Arm, Blocking In Breathing
Hello, I have a lump on the left bottom side of my left breast. I will have a mammography done tomorrow. Now I seem to have another small lump near the other one. It hurts me... it burns a bit and the pain irradiates to my neck and arm. I also have a bit of trouble breathing from that side. I feel pressure on my back on the left side. I seem to be blocking my breathing because it is so uncomfortable and painful as well. I had the impression I had a point pressure on my heart. But I know everything is ok with my heart. Can my lumps on my breast be giving me all of these symptoms?
Hi, Thanks for the query. Usually breast lumps could be of types like: - Breast infection forming abscess. - Benign or malignant tumors of the breast. -Periductal mastitis etc. Breast lumps can present with symptoms like pain, discharge etc. In case of large lumps, associated lymphatic enlargement etc, discomfort in chest can be seen. Rarely if secondaries spread to lungs, breathlessness etc features can be seen. But they are very rare. By undergoing examination and mammography, the possible cause can be identified and treated. So, consult general surgeon once and get evaluated. Take care.
