Painful Ingrown Nail In Toe With Pus Filled Blister. What Is The Solution?

Hi about a month ago i guess i got an ingrown nail bc it was hurting (on my big toe) and it was basically falling off by itself and i cut some of it off too. I also had a blister of puss on the side and its still there but no puss. It hurts alot when i touch it. What should i do? What will the doctors do if i go with them?

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

you might have developed a bacterial infection secondary to ingrown nail.

Best treatment is antibiotic therapy for a week,

Followed by partial nail avultion and chemical cautarization of the corners of nail.

A photograph would have helped me better.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.

you can ask a direct question to me on this forum, following the below link.
