Pain In Wisdom Teeth, Painful To Swallow, Pain In Gums

Hi! I first started having some minor pains in one of my wisdom teeth . My dentist said that one will never fully come in because it doesn t have enough room. Lately, I ve had major pain in the area of my wisdom tooth (bottom left) and then the pain moved into the back of my mouth and my mouth seemed extremely tight. Then it became painful to swallow and also, sometimes my lower and upper left gums start hurting. If I don t talk or move my mouth a lot, it becomes painful to sleep etc.

Hello there....this is a consequence of an unerupted lower third molar... pain from the lower impacted third molar usually radiates to the throat region, middle ear and left temple region (side of your head above the ear)..If the pain is severe that would even hurt when you swallow... If left untreated there are chances for the tooth to get infected and would result in decreased mouth opening (trismus)....
Get you wisdom tooth removed from a Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon as they are experts in handling these kind of teeth....

hi there
thanx for the query
Your WISDOM TOOTH is impacted that means it is present inside the bone but will never errupt fully in the oraL cavity.
dose of analgesics and antibiotics will subside the pain in that region but within any span of time it would alarm with pain again. only solution to your problem is EXTRACTION OF WISDOM TOOTH.wisdom tooth is a vestigial tooth which has no function in the mouth neither it helps in chewing nor it is visible enough to enhance your smile. get it pulled out by a oral surgeon as soon as possible.
thanx

Hi spike ! Do you have bleeding and bad smell from the gums. If yes! Then need attention. Now at present you have oral infection and pain. For pain take diclofenac, for oral infection amoxicillin tab. Don't forget to do brush and mouthwash at night. Get well soon. Bye.
