Pain In Ribs Even After Myomectomy To Remove Fibroids And Ovarian Cysts. Suggestions?

My mother had a myomectomy operation and two fibroids were removed and also her ovaries cystes. However she is still complaining if extreme pain in 11th rib when she wishes to lye on bed or ground. That is why she is unable to have enough rest to recover from surgery. Could you please help me with your suggestions? Is that pain because of a sudden movement which led to muscular spasm?

General Surgeon 's  Response
The rib pain has nothing to do with the operations per se.
However if the surgery was recent, the operating positions and the type of surgery (especially laparoscopy) could lead to this problem.
