Pain In Lower Left Leg, Difficulty In Bending And Walking. Surgery Done In Left Knee 4 Months Back. Should I Get See Another Doctor?

Hi Dr. Samuel
I have pains in my lower left leg, I can't bend my left knee. I had key hole surgery in my left knee 4 months ago. I've had physio and swimming exercises and still my left knee is not able to bend. I also have difficulties walking. Please advise what should I do - get a second opinion from another specialist or return to the orthopedic surgeon that performed the key hole surgery on my left knee.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi.

Continue doing physiotherapy and swimming exercises. It will help to regain the range of motion of knee. It is better to get it evaluated by your orthopaedic surgeon that performed the key hole surgery on my left knee. Although there is no harm to get second opinion.

I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.

Regards.
