Pain In Groin And Back While Sitting. History Of Sudden Body Turn. Pulled Muscle?

My husband was lifting a 50 lb box off of a loading dock to his truck and had one foot on the dock and one foot in his truck stretching and he turned wrong and ever since then he has had pain in his groin and back when he sits. He has no pain while standing and he doesn't have a lump in the groin area. Could he have a hernia or just stretched wrong and pulled something?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain that you have is likely to be due to a muscle sprain. This needs oral muscle relaxants, rest, hot fomentation and mild pain killers for proper relief. You can get these prescribed from your physician.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Praveen-Tayal
