Pain In Bicep, Troubled With Decreases Range Of Motion. Suggestions?
I have a throbbing pain in my right bicep which I am aware of in bed. I find it difficult to get comfortable. If I try lying on that side or the other, I,m either causing direct pressure to the area or just stressing the area. Lying on my left. Side, I need a pillow or a support in an effort to find a completely neutral position. I am not troubled with a decreased range of motion.
Hi, it appears to be due to the cervical spondylosis, muscle twitch, etc. So i advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. I to my patient with such symptoms prescribe neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and one injection every week. Thank you.
hello user I think there is some muscle fibre sprain in your biceps muscles. First of all you are strictly advised to stop any strenuous muscular activity if at all you are doing for few weeks, so that the muscle gets some rest.
Simple strains don't require any specific treatment and go away in few weeks.
If you find it persisting you are advised to have your arm X-Rayed to look for any bony lesion.
Hope my advise helped you regards Dr Hari Om Chandrakar MBBS
