Pain Below Breast, Lumps. Ultrasound Shows Lumps. X-ray Normal. Family History Of Stomach Cancer. What Is It?

Hi I have a terrible pain on my lower rigst just below my breast It was a sharp pain. the pain has moved to the rigt side of my rib cage and I have developed two lumps one is 2cm and the other 1.5 cm initially there were no lumps. The pain is sharp and stronger when I move towards the left side. I have had two ultrasounds and an X-ray. The X-ray showw the ribs are fine the ultrasound found the lumps and the size of them.. During the first ultrasound the size of the lumps were smaller in less than two weeks the lumps have grown and the pain is no continues as it was but it is harder when it arrives. I am nervous I lost my father on his batlle with cancer between the esofagous and stomach - H. pylori. I have been suggested to have a byopsy of the lumps. What do you think it is. thansk

I have gone through the history and suggest you not to delay but you should get biopsy of lump done as early as possible and as regards the pain in rib cage it will be wiser to get a whole body bone scan done to arrive at a proper diagnosis
Both biopsy and result of bone scan will lead to clues which may be responsible for such problem.
The sooner you undergo these tests the better for you.
With best wishes from Dr Chowhan
