Pain And Bruise In The Ankle After An Injury. Will It Go Away Or Need Medical Attention?

Hello! Almost two months ago, I fell and my ankle got caught between my boyfriends leg and the foot board. This caused severe pain and a very small bruise . Today, two months later it feels like there is a bump right above my ankle bone and pain whenever the slightest pressure is applied. Is this going to go away, or should I get it checked out?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hi thanks of the query.
Initially you must have sprained the ankle. In the early stages it is best to give rest and splinted your ankle. The fresh symptoms might be due to instability. I advice you to consult Orthopedician and get his advice any x ray if necessary .
