ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
This is very dangerous condition as you know if you have severe attack in water itt could be problematic.
AVOID SCUBA DIVING AND SWIMMING TOO.
Consult your ENT specialist and get done
ENT consultation --Ear examination for any local ear disease causing vertigo , Some clinical tests can be done in Out patient department which will guide that you need a Neurologist or ENT specialist for further treatment . "In Balance disorders clinical examination is the most important part"
----Pure Tone Audiometry (Hearing tests)---For any hearing loss, which develops if there is any lesion on the nerve (as nerve for hearing and balance goes together)
----Impedance Audiometry ---To know position of inner ear for any fluid and to see for acoustic reflex that is a nerve test.
----If there is any problem in these above two tests then few other tests are also there like Tone decay , SISI etc, which your ENT doctor can guide you for.
----MRI Brain --To see for the condition of brain parenchyma and the nerves.
