Numb Feeling In Upper Lip, No Swelling. Feel Stitches In Ears. Suggestion?

since a montyh I have numb feeling inside my upper lip . No swelling or visual deformation. After few weeks I felt numb feeling, like after a dentist squirt, around my left eye. It comes and goes, but the upperlip is permanent. Since today I also have numb feelings in my chin and had a few feelings today like smaller stiches in my left ear. They checked blood already kast week and no Lyme found. Any idea?

Hello,

Numbness inside upper lip usually occurs due to-
Abscess formation due to periodontal infection/traumatic injury/deep caries.

A thorough clinical evaluation by a dentist will help to interpret final diagnosis.

Pus has to be drained and curetted.

Analgesics along with metronidazole has to be administered to relieve the underlying infection.

Meanwhile,maintain oral hygiene well.

Brush and floss your teeth involving all aspects .

Use chlorhexidine mouthrinses to gargle.
