Noticed Light Pink Spotting, and A Cyst Of 2.6cm Which Is Causing Pain

Hi. I had intercourse on 19th dec. (2 weeks back) we used condom but I'm not sure if he took it out halfway through. Nor am I sure if he did release in me as I did not recall feeling anything. 2-3 days after, I had very light pinkish spotting, maybe a few drops worth for about 2 at most 3 days. 2 days back I had cramps in my lower abdomen for 2 weeks days and went to a gynae. He checked and said nothing was wrong but found a cyst of 2.6cm, which according to him is normal. He doesn't know what is causing the pain. Is this what that is causing the pain? Or something else? My period is due in a few days time. But I do not get cramps. Thank you.

Pain might be due to it. Where is this cyst? In your ovary or in the vagina or tube? We nees to Treat any associated infection that could be transmitted sexually and do trans vaginal sonography. Also advisable to a urine pregnancy test.
