Not Getting Periods Despite Taking Deviry. Pregnancy Test Positive. Will This Medication Affect The Baby?
i had deviry tablet to get the period as my gync prescribe it,however i didn t get the periods..so i have done the pregency test today and it was positive.please let me know how it effects the pregency is there any side effects...what are the precaution to be taken..it is my first baby...i am worried.....had the tablets for 5 days

Deviry tablet contains medroxyprogesterone. Its effect on pregnancy and foetus is not clear and certain yet. Ofcourse some studies have shown that it may lead to abnormal development of genitals and cardiovascular system, but it is not well established. As you have taken it only for 5 days, it will not have effect.
