No Periods. Advised To Take Meprate. Is It Safe? Only Urine Test Enough To Confirm Pregnancy?

Every month 5th is my period time. This month its now 12th till am not have any symptoms of period. Last month i took IUI test. This month 10th I consult with my doctor and i took urine test. Its negative. Doctor gave meprate tablet. Is it safe to have it? Only urine test is enough to confirm the result? Give some sugessions... what i shall do? Will go with the tablet and look for the next month or wait for natural periods?

Thanks for your query. As you mentioned this is first time you have missed your periods, I feel wait for 1 more week and repeat the pregnancy test. Then if it is negative then take meprate tablets for WITHDRAWL BLEEDING.
