No Motions Even After Taking Laxatives, Severe Stomach Pain And Cramping, Bloating, Flatus. Remedy?
i am having some issues. i have taken a laxative once about a week and a half ago, and took one yesterday and i still cannot go. i have used the restroom somewaht but not reguarly like im supposed too. i have been eating fiber bars, and wheat things, and drinking water. Its getting too the point where my stomach is hurting from it and cramping up. i am bloated, and gassy as well. what should i do?
Hello Good evening, You might be suffered from SAIO (Subacute intestinal obstruction). By the time it can convert into Acute Intestinal Obstruction. You should not be careless about it and if your symptoms deteriorate then please follows:
X-ray FPA in erect position to r/o any intestinal obstruction X-ray Chest PA in erect position to see gas under diaphragm to r/o any perforation Blood investigations to support if peritonitis CECT abdomen to clear more all the things Most important, to consult with general/gastro surgeon to identify any serious damage.
If symptoms are not so severe then you can use more laxatives with walking and PC enema too.
