I suffered a bad concussion about 2 months ago from ice skating. Knocked my self out and I have no memory of the accident or much from that entire weekend or the hours before I fell. Wash rushed to the ER and my CAT scan came back fine...was sent home. over the next few weeks I had neck pain from the whip lash and dizzy spells off and on, but they seem to clear up within a month or so...well in the last week and half I have been having vertigo when climbing into bed and when I getup form bed..also when I turn or roll over. To the point the room spins and I feel sick. It only last 15 seconds or so, but I feel fine if I am sitting or standing. Would this be PCS by chance? I also have had a change in diet and have been exercising reg everyday. I drink at least 8 large glasses of water too. ?? Should I go get a MRI done? Thanks
Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to Benign positional paroxysmal vertigo or to cervical vertebral instability.
For this reason, I would recommend consulting with an ENT specialist and performing labyrinthine tests. Performing a brain MRI would be the next step to perform.
In the meantime, I would recommend taking dimenhydrinate for the dizziness.
