I had thyroid labs that were abnormal and then they were normal again but no changes in my symptom at all my ultrasound showed I have mild Thyroiditis with hyper vascular also a nodules to small to biopsy I recently had TBII labs done came back 22.9 normal 16 waiting on my TSI labs what the difference between the two TBII and TSI does the high level of TBII mean I have Graves' disease or will my TSI labs be able to tell me I really need someone to explain the difference
TBII stands for thyrotopin binding inhibitory immunoglobulins. TBII block the stimulation of thyroid by TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) and thus "block thyroid hormone production."
Conversely, TSI (Thyroid Stimulating Immuniglobulin) stimulates thyroid gland to produce excessive thyroid hormones.
hope , you understood the difference.
