need to find out about hiatial hernia info.have severe acid reflux.not travel up the throat now but get stuck in the hiatal hernia.month and a half ago i was getting acid reflux and it didnt go back down in 5- 10 seconds like normal. it got stuck in the hernia area right behind the xiphoid process. stayed for about 10 minutes then all of a sudden it traveled across n about 1-1/2 inch height, traveled to both side n exact time to the sides of the ribs under the arm pits.it was like as if the was a gps it followed across the center definately was the xiphoid process.have lots of internal problems.almost unbelievable!! the problem is since that very day i cannot eat anything solid it gets stuck in the hernia and does not empty into the stomach.liquids stop there but after about 5 seconds i feel the liquid actually empty fully into my stomach.this feelin that the hernia (which i do know a hernia is a rupture) felt like a rupture has never happened before.i have had the feeling of food being stuck for a fews seconds but never 6-10 after i eat.i also get the feeling of being stabbed in the back.if i stetch out my chest and arch backwards the pressure on the back relieves but when i relax and sit normal it returns. i literally felt acid burning from the hernia to both sides across the chest/upper stomach about 4-5 inches under the arm pits. only way to compare this is putting jalopenas in your eyes. cannot eat any solid anymore and will not until i find out if i need urgent medical care.can this be some more or less than what it feels like? if i get a response to this i can give my medical history. urgent to know, im really hungary and been 4 days and only have been drinking tea. no soft solids no broths nothing going back in untils i know what this could be or if it can get worse. please respond.
