My Mother Is Suffering From Bone Tb, Please Help
hi! my mother is suffering from bone tb. she is undergoing treatment for thr same. bt recently she hs developed pain in feet and a bit of swelling. initially she used to have pain in hand and pelvic region which even went on to lack of hand movement. bt after detection of disease and medication th hand movmnt is gradually returning to normal.. bt i want to know th reasn of swellng and pain in feet inspite of 5 months medication ?

As she is responding to treatment ,treatment should be continued.Swelling & pain in feet can be due to many reason including side effect of drugs .So consult the treating doctor.Keel the foot end of bed raised while sleeping .it will reduce swelling.

Hello.Welcome.There can be several reasons for the swelling in feet.Commenest being Anemia with hypoproteinemia,uncontrolled hypertension,Kidney involvement etc.Consult your physician for identification and treatment of your mother's problem.Good luck.
