Why do you frighten someone who is in agony. It is not fair on your part to talk like this. You should be humanitarian after all everyone has to face such trouble some day. I really upset with your reply Bracci. Hey I am sorry for what has happened with your grandmother. I have little to say if she recovers or not, but I pray for it

Coma means people are unconsious, only the brain will be dead it is quite sever, i think the people from coma will not be revivied, they die. There is no way to save her. You just need to cross your fuinger and wait. This is very serious and nothing can be done when the person are in coma

It depends on the type of injury she has undergone. You need to enquire about her consition to the doctor who is treating her. Some people do come out from coma.

There is still a chance for your grandmother. When in a coma there is every chance that she may wake up, it does depend on the severity of the situation however. Just stay strong, talk to her because even in a coma some people can hear things around them and are just unable to respond to them. xx

My grandmother was told she has breast cancer about two months ago. Last week she fell in the shower, still unclear what happened. She was conscious when taken to the hospital, but had difficulty breathing. She requested to have breathing tube which they placed her in induced coma to do. They also put in a feeding tube. After a few days of them taking care of some issues which she had to have a blood transfusion and fight off a bacterial infection they were able to take out the tubes and wake her from the coma. Only problem is she won t wake up. It s been 4 days since and she still hasn t woken up. They ve run several tests and all of her responses including brain activity is normal. She just won t wake up. I m worried she never will. Is this normal or is there a chance she won t wake up?

My grandmother is in hospice but we re taking care of her at home. Anyway she s in the active stage of death, bleeding from the the mouth, involuntary twitching, shallow breathing and has been in a coma like state for 24hrs. My question is is foaming from the mouth normal? What else should we expect. She has liver failure from Alcoholism. We re giving her morphine as well. Thank you in advance.

And in June 2013 I had a massive stroke and a grand mall seizure. In a coma I was suppose to recover from. being that I was 60 percent brain dead. But I recovered, I had a hx post pardium cardiomyopathy after last pregnancy. And a hysterectomy in 2001, and a gastric bypass in 2003. @ the time of surgery I weighed 337. I weigh 200. And have been down to 185 but no longer take dieuretics as I did before. Because of the low sodium and such. I need to have some fat removed especially the apron. I am 5 foot 6inches.
