My 7yr Old Son Has Developed Lump On Clavicle, Please Help Him

My 7yr old son fell on sat and develped a lump on his clavicle ..took him to emergency room did x-ray came back neg ..had a ct scan said it was a lump of tissue..it was very swollen last night but seems to have went down this morning what caused it and when will it go away..he is still in pain

Hi.. The swelling could have occured due to soft tissue inflammation.. The soft tissues aroung the clavicle that were injured may have caused inflammation.. It will slowly regress.. You can assist in faster healing my restricting the movements of the elbow, hot water  bags and good antiinflammatory medications.. A good bedrest can be very useful...
