Hello, i had an ear tube insertion attempt yesterday to try to alleviate eustation tube dysfunction...Once my ENT inserted the tube, my hearing became instantly decreased and muffled. I told her this and asked her if this was supposed to happen or if i was to have improvement immediately. She said you should have immediate improvement. I told her i didn t, it was worse, she then removed the tube...and told me to see her in a week. I now still can t hear out of that ear and it is day 2. Is this normal? Did she do a myringotomy to insert a tube?
