Missed Periods. Pregnancy Test Report Negative. Chances Of Pregnancy?
Hi doctor, My wife has missed her period by a week and we are pretty tensed about it. We had unprotected sex many times last month, though I did not ejaculate inside.
She did the urine test twice, but it showed negative as of now..How can we find out if she is pregnant or if she has missed her period because of other reasons

The urine test is pretty accurate. If thats negative a week after missed periods,then you probably arent pregnant. There may many other reasons for the delayed periods. You can wait another week and take a test. If that is negative too then some hormone imbalance may be the cause behind this.
Get an ultrasound and some blood tests done.

I recommend her to get a urine pregnancy test once she misses her periods. Transvaginal scan is confirmatory of pregnancy.
