Minor Lower Back Pain, Bed Wetting While Sleeping. Causes For Symptoms?

Hi there, I m a 28 year old female. I ve had some pain in my lower back (central) for the past couple of weeks which I would say was minor but noticeable. Then last night when I was sleeping I wet the bed (only a very small amount and I was up as it was happening and it stopped). What could be happening? I find this very distressing.

Hello and welcome to HCM
Pain in lower abdomen along with involuntary passage of urine points towards some pathology of the urinary tract.
Is there hsitory of burning micturition or an increase in frequency of micturition?
If yes then there may be urinary tract infection.
Weakenong of perineal muscles due to child birth trauma can also cause involuntary passage of urine.

However, to reach at any conclusion few investigations need to be done eg an urine examination- routine and culture, pelvic ultrasound and a micturating cystogram.

Consult an urologist for investigations and further management.

Thanks and take care
