Menopausal. Severe Joint Pain, Muscle Pain. Not On HRT. Suggested Acupuncture. Best Solution?

Hi I am female 51 just started menopause. I've had severe joint and muscle pain now for close on 2 years. This has become more so since menopause,. I have been checked for just about everything, my physio seems to think it is a chemical change, and even suggested acupuncture. Would this help? I am not on Hrt.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The joint pain and the muscle pain that you are having could be related to the menopausal hormonal changes or the osteoporosis. This can be helped with proper joint lubricant and calcium supplements and taking phytoestrogens.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
