Malaria In Blood 0.5%. Visa To Malaysia For Higher Studies Denied?

i have recently found with malaria in my blood 0.5%..is it normal.... i will go to Malaysia this april 2012 for my higher degree.... my visa has been stopped due to this??

hello. Welcome to HCM.
Your parasitemia is moderately high, but not high enough. generally there is effective treatment available for malaria, depending on species identification. You have not mentioned which species (vivax or falciparum), but generally parasite index is given for Plasmodium falciparum. The medicines will rapidly decrease parasitemia. Yes, there are some countries which will ban affected patients from malaria endemic zones, but, you still ahve time to start treatment, and become fine.
