MRI Lumo Sacral Spine Report Got. Options Other Than Surgery?

This is the MRI Lumbo Sacral Spine report of my sister (Age 28).
Imaging Sequences:
Sagittal and axial T1W, T2W
Coronal STIR
Impressions:
Posterocentral and right paramedian disc protrusions at L4-5 level indenting on the thecal sac and compressing the nerve roots contained on it.
Mild posterior disc protrusion at L5-S1 level

Can you please suggest me the best treatment options other than surgery?

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM
Pain is due to degenerative disease in spine in the form of disc prolapse.
Disc prolapse is causing compression of nerve roots at L4-5 level and this is causing symptoms.
Treatment options are physiotherapy and surgery.
Physiotherapy should be tried first.Exercise strengthen back muscles and this counters herniation of disc ,thus it decreases pain.
Surgery should be last option.
Long term benefits of surgery and physiotherapy is same.
Ozone ablation and radiofrequency ablation are also pain relieving methods.
Take Care
