Lump Without Pain On Scrotum, Is It Something Serious ?

I am 5 8 180lbs and no serious medical history . When I was showering the other day I noticed a pea sized lump on my right scrotum . It does does not cause pain but when I lightly squeezer it causes a itching sensation. What could it be? I do trim, so I was wondering if it could be an ingrown hair or is it something more serious?
