Loss Of Hearing, Pain On Putting Q Tip In Ears, Tingling Sensation. Tympanic Membrane Damaged?

Hello. I foolishly got a q tip stuck in my left ear after an impact, went far inside, it plugged into my ear pretty far and took some encouragement to pull it out, now i have been feeling loss of hearing in my left ear for 30 minutes...physically it hurt ofcourse but now im in no pain i can swallow normally no headache ...just loss of hearing and slight tingling ...is my Tympanic membrane damaged?

Hello

Yes it is likely that you have damaged your ear drum and would need to meet your ent doctor for confirming this. Please dont use q tips and keep the ear dry otherwise you may develop an infection.
