Left Cocaine Long Ago. Felling Sick, Vomiting And Took Promethazine. Tested Positive For Cocaine Now. Is It Possible?
My son is on parole and has to have a UA every few months. He has not used any cocaine since he got out 4 years ago. He is a God person. He was very sick and was throwing up and like a fool I gave him 2 Promethazine 25mg tablets about a hour before we got there. She said he tested positive for cocaine. He insisted on her giving him another test because he knew he was clean. It to was positive. Is this possible?

There are some medications that can result in falsely positive drug test results.
Promethazine is thought to possibly cause false positive result for amphetamines.
There are other medications that can cause false positive results such antidepressants, cough and cold medications, some pain killers and some of the medications that are used for reflux.
