Large, Very Hard Mass In Right Butt Cheek Under Skin, Unable To Sit Properly And Sleep On Back. Thoughts?

I have a large, very hard, mass in my right butt cheek, under skin. About size of a tennis ball or grapefruit. When I look online there are all sorts of random explanations. Going to see an Internist this week but noticed it a month ago when flew plane and could barely sit thru 3 hour flight. I can't sleep on back. At work my chair has a cushion so I didn't notice it. But butt cheek is about 2-4 inches larger than other side.

Hi,
From history as there is no h/o injury or fall it seems that you might be having big Lipoma on your but.
Lipoma is a benign lump so nothing to worry.
Consult surgeon and get examined.
