hello, my name is XXXXX and im a pro skateboarder. I have a large. LARGE, Bump on my forearm above the elbow as if you had fallen on the concrete and put your forearm first everytime you went down. (which is what really happened), due to the fact that i do not want to put my hands out and end up with a broken wrist . (again). Is this something i should be worried about. If so what should i do, because it is an extremely large buildup of blood . I think. It might be Filled up with puss for all i know its under my skin.
Hi.
Thanks for seeking advice through HCM.
You seem to be having a blood clot due to the injury which is now giving you trouble.
Please give hot wet towel compresses frequently & take some analgesics.
If it does not subside in a week / if you start getting fever, increase in pain at the site etc you may need to see a doctor who can assess it properly & do the needful.
Take care.
Hi,
Thanks for query,
You should be need x-ray to rule out any fracture of bone first as it is a large swelling.
As your skin was not broken there were least chances of pus formation but what you could see is a collection of blood with soft tissue swelling along with fractured bone or not.
Thanks.
