Labor Induced With Cytotec. Stopped The Baby's Heart For Few Sec. Born Jaundice. Battling Gastroparesis. Problem Due To Cytotec?

Hi, my labor was induced with cytotec which stopped my daughters heartbeat for a few seconds but it started back up on its own ( thank god!) but her heart rate never registered with the contractions which was worry some. She was born jaundice and required a billy blanket for a couple weeks. She's now ten and all her life has been battling gastroparesis. Could the exposure to the cytotec caused her disorder?

Hi, the cytotec or any harmones will not have any effect on the new born, due to abscence of the receptors. Of course the induced labour will have some effect on the baby, but it is less than the delayed labour.
Neonatal jaundice is not that much harm full, but it should not take that much time for recovery.
Any how don't worry, she will be fine with the supervision of a pediatritian . Thank you.
