Jaundice, Unstable Bilirubin And Hemoglobin Levels. On Proper Diet. Ultrasound States Fatty Liver. Serious?
For past 4 months I am suffering from Jaundice and my s.billurubin level is 1.74 and hemoglobin 14.7 currently but it should not be stable , either i'm taking the proper diet & medicine the billurubin level is some time come to reduce or some time increase . my minimum billurubin level is 1.12 & maximum level 4.12 & also my hemoglobin level ( minimum 12.90, maximum 16.00). i'm also done the altrasound test & according to this the report status is "fatty liver" . it is serious problem or not . so please give me the solution & precaution.
Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query. This is not serious condition and this is very common today. Fatty liver is caused by high sugar and lipids levels in blood and alcohol intake. it is treated primarly by cahnging lifestyle and dieatary habits so you need to follow some hepatoprotective diet, avoid alcohol, lose weight and regulate sugar and lipids levels. Bilirubin of 1.74 isnt problematic for itself if othe LFT are fine. Wish you good health. Regards
