Itchy Reddish Bumps Spreading On The Body. What Is Causing This?

I have been having large itchy red bumps the last three days. They get so itchy swollen and hard and have been itching for a few days. Some of them as big as a fifty cent coin. There are also small groups of them in a bunch that seems to increase in numbers after scratching . In the center of some of them there is sometimes water.
