Itchy, Dotty, Rashy Spots On Inner Labia. Detected Imbalance Of Bacteria. Prescribed Vagisan. Possible Bacterial Infection?

I went to a doctor in Germany yesterday for itchy non painful dotty rashy spots i had found on my inner labia, he said there was an imbalance of good and bad bacteria probably caused by condyloma. He prescribed me Vagisan. I cannot see anything online for the effect of Vagisan against genital warts.. is there a small chance that it is just a bacterial infection?

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

Vagisan is a cream used for vaginal dryness only and would not be able to treat any infections that might be causing your itches.
From your description, it will hardly be a condyloma causing an itchy dotty rash (if dotty, it is means they might be papules and condyloma usually does not occur as dotty rash).
Did your doctor run a vaginal smear before concluding that you are having a mix of bacteria flora (good and bad)? If yes, then he needed to provide you with antibiotics to take care of the infection. If no, then he/she would definitely need to request for a vaginal smear and also do STD screening. There are several types of microorganisms that could be responsible for your vulva itching. Each microbe requires specific drugs. Fungi, bacteria, virus etc could individually be responsible for your itches.

Hope this helps and wish you the best.
