Itching on top of butt crack a little on the inside small 2 inch area, slightly rough surface, alot of sitting on chair. Sometimes hurts to touch. Doesn't seem to be a ringworm, psoriasis, or eczema.as seen in google pictures. What could be the cause and What treatment do you suggest. I apply lotion every day doesn't seem to help.

Hello,
It seems to be fungal infection only.
It is quite common in this area because of increased sweating in this area resulting in more dampness which becomes very conducive for the fungal growth.
Apply locally CANESTAN ointment and take tablet FLUCANAZOLE 150 mg every week for 6 weeks.
In case itching is troubling you,an antihistamine like CETRIZINE can be taken in night for a week.
I think you should be all right with this treatment.
I hope it helps
Thanks
