Itching Of Hands And Feet. What Is The Cause And Treatment?

Ever since came back from in 07 hands and feet itch so bad I run shin off in my sleep which btw it keeps me awake alot. It comes and goes and sometimes more severe than normal. It has been so bad in past I just wanted to die to end it. Am I nuts? It can t be in my head can it? I have been to the veteans hospital over it. All they did was rule out cancer diabeties and scabies other than that they say they have no idea

Hi,

It may be a simple fungal infection, which needs anti-fungal ointment like Lotrimin. You need to use it twice daily on the areas that itch for a minimum of 6 to 7 weeks.

Continuous application of moisturizer is essential to keep the hands and legs moist and itch-free.
