MY Wife Recently had a Repeat C-section on Fridat the 19th a throbbing headache started on tuesday night when we came home. Her blood pressure is elevated to 173 over 90. we are currently admitted to the hospital and now here vision is blurred this morning could that be a side effect to the blood pressure meds that she has received or could that be an underlying problem

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. The most likely cause of the blurred vision your wife is experiencing could be the high blood pressure. Medications given to control the pressure do not usually cause blurred vision. Dizziness and drowsiness, however, can be caused. Please get the opinion of an ophthalmologist; a fundus examination and tests of refraction are needed. If you can provide me the names of the anti-hypertensive medication used, I can provide you with the possible side effects. Hope this helps.
