Is Vaginal E Coli Infection Prolonged Infection Or Recurrent?
I was recently treated for a vaginal e-coli infection. I m assuming that I have had this for several months, as I ve had symptoms for a long time. I first thought it due to stress at the time, My question is, can you have an e-coli infection for several months? And also, how likely is it to come back now that I ve been treated for it? I m getting ready for gallbladder surgery soon and don t want to have to fight this infection while recovering

In my opinion you can get E Coli from wearing tight underwear which rubs and transfers bacteria. Thongs should be loose fitting and should no indent your skin anywhere.
You can also get it from having anal sex and then vaginal sex. If you have anal sex you should not allow the male to reenter the vagina at any time afterward.
It is a bacterial infection and it can be cured with some antibiotics.
