Is This Normal Of Having Sore Breasts While In Mirena?
I ve had mirena for 3 years , no period for over 2 years . But just recently my nipples have started hurting . They are sensitive & sore & heavy but I ve taken multiple pregnancy test over the last month & every one has come up negative . Is this Normal?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Sore breasts are due to the effect of the progesterone hormone in the Mirena.
It is acommon side effect of Mirena.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, then the pregnancy is ruled out.
There is absolutely nothing to worry.
