Hello,

The endometrial thickness varies depending on the day of the menstrual cycle and the age of the individual. Yes, it is concerning as endometrial hyperplasia causes abnormal vaginal bleeding. Neglect in treatment may cause cancer. Get clinically examined by a gynecologist, you may need hormonal treatment or other therapies. To maintain ovarian health, you are advised to do regular exercises, abstain from alcohol and tobacco use, and take a balanced home-made diet.

High-protein and low-carbohydrate foods in your diet will helps minimize inflammation and pain. If you experience persistent pelvic pressure or pain, unexpected weight gain or loss, irregular menstrual cycle, abnormal vaginal discharge then get clinically examined and evaluated by a gynecologist. Get treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
