Hi. The reflux may or may not be due to inflamed colon. Continue the same diet and Zantac. Addition of tab Reglan or Domperidone in a dose as advised by your Doctor will definitely help to stop reflux. It is advisable to have small amount of food 4 times a day, avoid oily and spicy food. Do not lie down in bed immediately after food. all these things should help you. If still the reflux persists you may need further investigations in the form of Upper GI endoscopy or so as advised by your Doctor. Hope this will be useful for you.
