Hi, welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears that your girl friend had migraine head ache. Some people with migraine will have cluster of veins on the temple.
There are medicines for prevention and relief of the head ache. The other causes may be thew anxiety, tensions, or some intracranial lesions.
I advise you to consult a neurologist for diagnosis and treatment. She may need to have a MRI. for diagnosis .
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
