Is There Any Side Effects For Primolut N?

Hi, I am suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome. My period is regural ( every 33 days) I wants to postpone my period and the general doctor advised me to take primolut N 4 tablets everyday for two weeks maximum. I told my doctor that I have polycystic ovary syndrome and I asked him if there is any side effect of using this tablet take into consideration that my period is regular. I wants to know if there is any side effect for using this medicine in my case. Thank you

Hello,Thankyou for your Quiry,
brief..Use of Primolut N can cause hormonal disbalance and irregular bleeding.
Detail..Since you have already polycystic ovarian syndrome ,which itself causes hormonal disbalance and irregular periods too.As Primolut.N itself contains synthetic progesterone which can be used to treat some gynaecological problems .(endometriosis,heavy bleeding etc). if it is used for several times only to postpone menses could cause irregular periods.Other side effects are uterine ,vaginal bleeding,nausea,headache and abdominal pain.
