Is There Any Relation Between Blood Sugar And Mosquito Bite?

My son eats excessive amounts of sugar (despite my protests!) but has not been diagnosed as a diabetic (no, he doesn't use the bathroom more than the average person). He has been bitten by mosquitos in his bedroom but no one else is. Could it be related to the amount of sugar he eats? We think there is a possibility of a water leak in his room as we have noticed a few light-orange rings on the ceiling. I know about CO2 and sweat (he piles the blankets on).

Hi,

There is no relation between sugar or sweet you eat and mosquito bite.

Yes due to water leak in his room more mosquitoes may be present there and hence more bites.

I hope this information answered your questions.
Regards
