hi,i had a herpes test the range came back 1.1 positive. one of the doctor said i have to retake the test cause my range was low, i consulted another doctor and she said it is positive. am confuse. i have been reading a lot on false positive test. can u help clear up the issue

Hi it depends on the kit used and reference rsnge given according to the kit by manufacturer. Its slightly different ftom kit to kit and company to company. So itz wise you should go for repeat test at standard laboratory. and thdn consult your doctor and take treatment accordingly.
