Hello and welcome to HCM,
Blighted ovum is a common condition caused by inability to form a gestational sac.
This is relatively common and it does not suggest any disease or any abnormality.
The fertilized ova which have chromosomal aberrations incompatible with life usually aborted by the nature itself.
The pregnancy with blighted ovum has to be terminated.
You need not worry as this condition will not interfere with future pregnancies.
However, antenatal care and regular antenatal check ups should be done regularly for the maternal as well as child well being.

Thanks and take care
