Is the urinalysis report normal while on UTI medications ?
hi doc my routine urinalysis ; color : slightly turbid reaction acidic sp gravity 1.030 albumin trace pus cells 2-5/hpf rbc 0-1/hpf epit.cells: occasional a.urates rare other findings coarse of granullar cast: 0-1 / lpf i had recently UTI and the doctor prescribr me anti-biotic what is your view of this docs, anything bad or its normal in uti medication how can i recover thank Godbless.

Yes, urine report can be normal once you are on right kind of antibiotics for the UTI. That is one of the reasons why doctors ask to repeat urine routine test. That is find out that you do not suffer from continuation of the UTI in spite of the treatment and in case you do, then to perform urine culture and sensitivity test to see what alternative antibiotic can take care of your infection. The trace amount of albumin can be part of your recent UTI, but otherwise the report looks ok and plus you must be feeling symptom free. So be assured that the report can look normal. And you are recoveing or recovered! Good luck.
