Is The Semen Analysis Report Normal?

hi doctor!i would like to ask several questions about my husbands semens analysis report.it has 30% normal sperm, 20%sluggish and 50%abmormal sperms. is it normal . and one more thing is that what is the liquifaction time. my husbands liquifaction time is 15 min

Thanks for writing to HCM

Your husband's semen analysis is probably alright though it is not full report.
30% normal sperm is acceptable.Atleast 14 % sperms should have normal morphology.
20% sluggish sperms is also acceptable.At least 50 % sperms should be motile after one hour .
Liquefaction time is also normal.Liquefaction is the process when the gel formed by proteins from the seminal vesicles is broken up and the semen becomes more liquid. It normally takes less than 20 minutes for the sample to change from a thick gel into a liquid.
